Mr. Harns joined ACT’s US operations in July 2022, in connection with ACT’s acquisition of Altitude Energy Partners, where Lee had acted as COO and then CEO over a five year period. Prior to that, Mr. Harns worked for other large US and international directional drilling companies, in progressively senior roles.

Mr. Bougaieff joined ACT’s operations in July 2022, in connection with ACT’s acquisition of Altitude Energy Partners, where Alex had acted as CFO since 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Bougaieff held progressively senior finance leadership roles within the energy industry, which includes leading a NYSE-listed Initial Public Offering. Prior to that, Alex was a professional athlete for 10 years. Alex has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.

Mr. Clark has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. He most recently worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Altitude Energy Partners starting in February 2021. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President of Technology and Corporate Development at the same company from January 2019 to February 2021.

Mr. Heaton is going on 24 years in the industry. He began as a field MWD working his way through directional drilling for other major directional companies in the industry. Mr. Heaton then joined Altitude in late 2017 as a Coordinator until the opening of the Casper Rocky Mountain region where he became the operations manager. Later in 2019 as operations grew, he stepped out of local management to oversee the U.S. Operations.

Andy Biem is a results-driven technical executive with over 15 years of leadership experience across oil and gas operations, engineering, and product management. Currently serving as Vice President of Technical Services, he oversees critical functions such as reliability, sustaining, new product development, repair and maintenance and asset management. Serving in prior roles including MWD and DD field operations and progressing through positions of increasing responsibility, Andy has a proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering innovations. A U.S. Navy veteran, Andy brings unparalleled expertise in root cause analysis, process control, KPI development, and operational efficiency.
Olaf Wernicke
Vice President of Quality Management Systems
With 35 years of experience in the global oil and gas industry, Mr Wernicke has held engineering roles in Germany, management positions in Canada, and now serves in an executive leadership capacity in the United States. He has extensive expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems aligned with the oil and gas service sector’s ISO 9001 and API Spec Q2 standards. Since joining Altitude Energy Partners in 2018, Mr Wernicke has played a pivotal role in leading Altitude to the industry’s first API Spec Q2 certification for a directional drilling company operating in U.S. land markets.
Jett Hunter
Vice President of US Sales
Mr. Hunter joined the Altitude team in February 2021. Shortly after, he assumed the position of Permian Operations Manager. Upon three years of business unit growth in the Permian Region, he was promoted to VP of Sales for the U.S. Prior to his time with Altitude Energy Partners, Jett held various roles in both operations and business development over his seventeen plus years in the energy industry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas and his Master Business Administration from the University of Houston with a focus on Energy.

Mr Spengler joined Altitude in September of 2021 as VP of Business Development upon the acquisition of Valiant Energy Services Ltd. where he was Owner and President since the company’s inception in 2013. Previous experiences include sales and operations roles in privately held directional companies as well as field level Directional and MWD roles in Canada and the United States. In January of 2023 Vaugn assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Canadian Operations and continues to hold that role today.

Mr. Marsa joined Altitude in June 2022 as VP of Sales and Technical Services upon the acquisition of Compass Directional Services Ltd where he was VP of Operations and an employee with Compass since 2008. Omar’s previous experience includes Technical and Operations Roles with several other prominent directional drilling service providers as well as nearly a decade of Directional Drilling and MWD Operations Field Roles. Omar earned a Petroleum Engineering Diploma and started his career in energy on the production/reservoir engineering disciplines with a major energy operator. In November of 2022, Omar assumed the role of Vice President Canadian Operations and continues to hold that position today.

Mr. Pustanyk was appointed Canadian Sales Manager at Altitude Energy Partners in July 2023. Prior to this, he held significant roles in Technical Sales and Drilling Optimization within the directional drilling industry. He is a Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Calgary.
